Sherri Miller

Special Education Pathways strives to support access and inclusion of children with special education needs in international schools. Sherri Miller created this business in response to the great need she observed for services of children with special education needs around the world. Having spent almost 25 years as a special educator and administrator in a large US school district, she is well versed in best practices and research-based strategies which improve the learning of children with special needs. Following from that, she was invited to found a school in Doha, Qatar for children with Autism, the first of its kind in the country. Renad Academy continues as a beacon in Qatar, providing the example of a flourishing school which is both sustainable and improving the lives of children with Autism and their families. From this experience, she garnered an understanding of the many challenges when creating a special education program in an international school context. She uses this experience to ensure each school’s unique culture is considered when providing any recommendations. Sherri is able to consult on any disability type and provide necessary supports for schools and families to succeed.
